Hike for Nepal has become a strong community among hikers in Kathmandu. Started after the devastating earthquake in 2015 we have been organising a day hike in the outskirts of Kathmandu. Encourage people to hike, hike in the existing routes and find new trails in the countryside . HFN has been organising hiking around rims of Kathmandu valley every fortnight, twice a month, on alternate Saturdays.
Coupled with a zestful hiking experience to promote hiking destination on the outskirts of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and surrounding destination with a motive to promote, encourage people to travel domestically at the same time supporting social work and charity has been the main goal of Hike for Nepal. Since Hike for Nepal (HFN) establishment we have found out several routes for hiking in and outside of the valley. With almost 60 participants on each hike, hikers felt amused and jovial by the idea of exploring surrounding in a day while helping the community indirectly through HFN.
After all, it has always been an effort to promote the destination, support in social work and send a message to the internal market that Nepal is a mystical land to travel, explore, and get rewarded with the lifetime experience that one can ever have.
