Hike for Nepal was started after the devastating earthquake 25 April 2015. A lot of architectural structure toppled down leaving many casualties. The whole nation was suffering from its grievances and there was a saying that the small exquisite nation is not safe to travel.

Many international media published and showed the catastrophic state whereas, in reality, many places were in solid condition. Nearly all countries issued a travel advisory, not to travel to Nepal. At the mean miserable time Hike for Nepal was started as a campaign and to make people know that Nepal is still safe to travel.

For the prompt action to promote tourism in Nepal and to unveil the message our country is safe to travel we started hiking around the rims of Kathmandu valley every fortnight. To encourage people to travel domestically while supporting communities and school hand in hand for sustainable tourism.

To prevail over the message that Nepal is unsafe to travel and to provide aid for people affected by the disaster. Following its aftermath, it was just about the time for consistency and we regulated and started organising a day hike around the rim of Kathmandu Valley on a fortnightly basis. One the other hand, from the anticipation of people we keep donating, supporting communities and school twice in a year.

Later, a company with the name Hike for Nepal Holidays reciprocal with Hike for Nepal was commenced which allows us to take desired travelers to the various mainstreams and under shadowed  destinations for treks, tours and adventures while continuing a day hike. And providing budget friendly cost with ideal service and also supporting communities and School.

Social Work

Hike for Nepal Holidays is a firm which has been doing philanthropic works related to schools and communities sinces its establishment. We believe being a company, we do have our responsibilities and duties that need to be done to uplift our Nation. Several donation campaigns, educational materials distributions, community library, medical aid, and other humanitarians services are done by Hike for Nepal Holidays.

Whenever someone joins alongs on our organised hikes and trips, some portion of the collected amount is separated for the generous works. 

Sustainable social works!

Now, HFN organization  and HFN holidays are more focused on 2 kind of social that one directly involved with Human Life i.e. Digital blood donor database where one can go there and check for hikers/people who are willing to donate blood and can contact them for immediate blood donation and another is “A Library once a year” to benefit the remote and government school’s students who may not have access to numerous sources of books. So, a library concept will help them to obtain more education via different books.
