Nepal is a small but an exquisite Nation. Unique with its flag shape to its diverse topography ranging from 60 meters to the top of the world, Mt. Sagarmatha 8,848 meters. Lushing green fields and all-round snowy mountains, it is a delicious landlocked yam between two giants India and China in South Asia. Famed as the birthplace of “Gautama Buddha”, it is a land of plenty.

 

The diversity in cultural significance has astonished every visitor that steps in our majestic country. The altitude variation in such a short distance amazes travellers beside it is denouement that brings diversity in culture, food, dialogues, lifestyle which subsequently divided 125 castes with 123 different languages with Nepali as an official language. The rivers intersect Nepal from North to South and carries minerals to the plains land of Terai where there is vast fertile land used for cultivation. The activities and experiences are bountiful for one who seeks to explore this pristine land. To name a few, trekking, white water rafting, wildlife safari, mountaineering, peak climbing,  a UNESCO heritage site, pilgrimage site and many more. Out of 10 highest mountains 8 of them are in Nepal.

 

Certainly, Nepal is a landlocked country but it is the second richest country in fresh water resources, so you can expect lakes at high altitudes. Therefore, there are many lakes in Nepal and to name a few for people whose elements is water, Tilicho lake (4,919 mt/Manang), Gokyo Lake (4,700 mt/Solukhumbu), Shey Phoksundo (3,612 mt/Dolpa), Gosaikunda (4,380 mt/Rasuwa),  Rara Lake (2,990 mt/Mugu district), Phewa Lake (742 mt/kaski) and many more in the list. This lake are accessible by drive and few of them are on the protected area of Nepal where you can trek and take back the experience for a lifetime.

 

Recently, Nepal has announced 2020 year as a Visit Nepal year. This approach of the administration is to promote tourism in every sector of Nepal, promoting the hidden places while supporting community directly as a result many Homestay are being promoted in various rural areas. Beside our country is one of the favourable destinations for movies, documentaries and botanical research. With a handful of adventure activities such as Bungy jump, swing, paragliding, skydiving, angling and white water rafting to spike up the adrenaline you can mark our small country for your next adventure. The ancient narrow street of Ason, Kathmandu is so unique and lively with people and one of the famous street markets.
